Four industrial parks in Peru advance toward Eco-Industrial Park certification
Between September 7 and 11, 2026, the EIP Peru team held working sessions at four industrial parks. The goal was to review their progress toward Eco-Industrial Park certification under NTP 222.105:2025.
The visits were led by Pamella Bocanegra Gervasi and Leidy Katherine González Garzon, representatives of EIP Peru. At each park, the team reviewed process information and strengthened technical coordination with the park teams.
Four parks on the path to Eco-Industrial Park certification
Each park is at a different stage. However, they all share the same goal: more sustainable and competitive industrial management.
INDUPARK — Monday, September 7
At INDUPARK, with the participation of Christian Andrade Montalvo, also part of the EIP Peru team, the team reviewed key information on the implementation of the Eco-Industrial Park approach. The session also strengthened coordination with the park team and the joint commitment to more sustainable industrial models.
Piura Futura Industrial Park — Tuesday, September 8
With Piura Futura, the team held a second working session. It focused on reviewing process information and solving technical issues to keep moving toward certification.
La Chutana Industrial Center — Wednesday, September 9
At La Chutana, the meeting reviewed aspects of the process and strengthened technical coordination. As a result, both teams reaffirmed their commitment to more sustainable and competitive industrial parks.
Sector 62 – Chilca Industrial — Friday, September 11
At Sector 62, the session focused on reviewing progress and defining next steps. In this way, technical coordination was strengthened to continue toward certification.
What NTP 222.105:2025 means
NTP 222.105:2025 sets the framework for an industrial park to be certified as an Eco-Industrial Park. That is why technical follow-up matters: it helps identify gaps early and organize each park’s work.
